About the Chamber Ambassadors Network

The Hudson Chamber Ambassadors Network enhances member experience by assisting with onboarding and engaging new members and encouraging existing members to maximize their member experience. This invitation-only volunteer network supports members' goals and works to build strong partnerships. Ambassadors work closely with the President and CEO, Membership Committee, and staff to create a positive and inclusive chamber culture.

What Makes a Chamber Ambassador?

• Are leaders who inspire, connect, and empower.
• Exhibit high morale for the Chamber’s mission, vision, and values.
• Participate actively in Chamber programming and events.
• Bring a proven record of exceptional networking and professional relationship building.
• Show a willingness to share and expand their professional network.
• Have been Chamber members for a minimum of 2 years.

Ambassador Responsibilities

• Collaborative: Attend regular, monthly meetings; exhibit a desire and willingness to cooperate with other ambassadors and Chamber leadership.
• Responsive: Liaise between Chamber leadership and members; respond to outreach within 2 business days.
• Effective: Maintain a good understanding of Chamber benefits and resources; raise awareness of the value of membership; participate in programming and events.
• Accountable: Serve as a feedback loop between members and Chamber leadership; keep their commitment to service.
• Member-focused: Offer advice and direction to enhance and curate a member’s experience; facilitate introductions and encourage member interactions; generate member value.
• Terms: Commit to volunteer for a 2-year period. Terms may be renewed or concluded by mutual agreement with the President and CEO or his/her representative.
